18th Battalion WW1 Group Sydney

THE Battalion
Who We Are
We are a group of like minded individuals who meet on a regular basis to ‘live the History’ of the average Australian Infantry (not Light Horse) soldier during the time of the Great War (1914-1918).

Help keep the Anzac spirit & memory alive.
We attend marches & ceremonial events such as Anzac Day, Armistice Day just to name two.
What We Offer
Our group depicts a typical Infantry unit based in France & Belgium between the years of 1916 to 1918.We try to 'Live the History' of the AIF of the Great War.
Our group is open to all individuals to join as well as family groups as all aspects of early 20th Century life is encouraged to be re-enacted. Some members also do Imperial German Infantry as well.
As a group we attend living history weekends where we try to live the same way a ‘Digger’ would have during his time in the Australian Imperial Forces.
We are a Sydney based First World War Reenactment organization
